Zidane’s headbutt full size picture

The headbutt of Zinedine Zidane on Materazzi was immortalized in a sculpture! The artist Abdessemed installed before the Centre Pompidou in Paris a work representing the famous giant gesture on the Italian player in the final of World Cup football 2006.

Entitled “Coup de tête” (2012), the bronze statue of more than five meters high and several tons was inaugurated Tuesday on the Place Beaubourg, in the context of an exhibition of works of Abdessemed, which opens to the public on October 3.
