The Champions are keen on regaining the title and bridging the gap in Europe by spending big to bring the talented forward to the blue part of Manchester.

Having purchased Suarez for £24m, this would show a huge profit for the club and if they could attract the right players to fit in to his system, Brendan Rodgers could be tempted. However, if all goes wrong, losing the newly branded Anfield idol combined with one of Liverpool’s poorest starts to a season, it could cost him more than he thinks, his job!
