Christiano Ronaldo auctions off golden boot award

Cristiano Ronaldo donated his Golden Boot (won in 2011) at Real Madrid to raise 1.5 million Euros for the cause in the Middle East.
This isn’t the first time the Galactica hero has done something like this, he has auctioned off his shoes and shirts in the past to raise money for the region.

Definitely a wonderful thing for him to do, with it being such a personal award. It is a shame more people in his position do not step up and do things like this, but bravo Christiano, we appreciate your selflessness.

The former Manchester United star also very recently mentioned at how he has been missing his old manager Sir Alex Ferguson and suggesting that a possible reunion could be in the works. Stay tuned for further updates on this story.
