As announced earlier this week, Alain Giresse is the new coach of Senegal. The former captain Bordeaux replaces Joseph Koto, sacked after failing to qualify for the African Cup of Nations 2013.

Alain Giresse has appointed the new coach for Senegal and wanting to bring back Senegal in the next African Cup of Nations in 2015 which will take place in Morocco

Alain Giresse was inducted this morning at a press conference at the head of the Lions of Teranga and has signed a two-year contract. The French coach aims to qualify for the World Cup 2014 Senegal and the next CAN in Morocco in 2015.
