Begovic is lined up for his long-awaited move after impressing this season at Stoke. His ratings have been almost second to none grabbing Sir Alex Ferguson’s attention. With David De Gea not being able to plug the hole left by his predecessor, Fergie has finally decided to bring in someone a little more seasoned.

Typically, Goal keepers do not peak until their early 30’s and with De Gea still very young, Sir Alex believes he has a lot to learn. However, this could be a problem for De Gea who arrived at Old Trafford on the thinking that he would be the number one stopper. With Manchester United conceding more goals this term than in any in the Premier League up to this point, Sir Alex realizes that things have to change.

There seems to be interest from Barcelona for David de Gea, especially if they are able to match the bid of £17 million paid by United to bring de Gea from Madrid only 18 months ago.
