Barcelona ‘s David Villa  has been re-admitted to hospital.

The Spain international was taken to hospital earlier this week with an abdominal infection, and was released on Tuesday after undergoing kidney treatment.

But the 31-year-old has now been hospitalised again as he suffers from kidney stones.

“David Villa has been re-admitted to the hospital of Barcelona due to the persistence of the pain caused by the renal colic he is suffering and to keep him under observation,” a statement on the club’s website reads.

“He has been ruled out of Saturday’s league game against Granada.”

Villa had made a rare appearance for his team against Getafe (Barcelona 6-1 Getafe) where he was outstanding and even scored a goal. We hope he will get well soon.
