Marouane Fellaini signed for United after much speculation of other players coming in, but when they failed to come to fruition, Moyes finally went in for his old midfield stalwart in Fellaini.
What many may not know is that a few weeks ago Moyes may have been able to get him for almost £8m cheaper, but eventually signing the player for £27.5m, having lost out on his 2nd and 3rd choice signings.
Fellaini is definitely an unconventional United signing and will bring something new to the table. He is tall, strong and can win headers in both penalty boxes, so that for a start will be of great help.
He managed a number of goals for Everton, especially when he plays behind the second striker or attacking midfield, he can float in to the spaces and is hard to track.
He can also play the holding midfield role very well, which in the past few years has been a real problem for United. So it will be interesting to see how Moyes will use him.
The question is, will he walk straight in to the team, or just be used as a game changer.
